About Us
Welcome to the site dedicated to serving the needs of this branch of the Lokey family. Things sure have changed this year...and all for the better. Kai Hamilton Lokey was born on December 30, 2006, bringing a whole lot of new adventures, entertainment, and exhaustion to our house. We might add boredom and restlessness as descriptors of our first non-human children, Sam and River.
We currently live in Tacoma, Washington where our neighbors have just recently cut down the only major trees on the block - thank you very much. "Let's move!" was the first thing out of Jen's mouth....we'll stay for a while. Just when we thought the landscaping work was over, here comes a whole new batch.
When this site last posted career paths of our two super heros, Jen was teaching biology at Charles Wright Academy. We're now proud to announce that Jen has made a major career moving into full-time motherhood. Tod could not be happier that she will be spending her days with little Kai. Soon she will be trying to keep up with him.
Tod, on the other hand, has left the Tacoma School of the Arts to support the instructional use of technology in Tacoma High Schools. As a Technology Facilitator for the Instructional Technology Department, he spends his weekdays traveling to the districts major high schools (four of them) and two alternative schools.
